These terms apply when you use Video Hunter (myvideohunter.com), its Telegram bot and its browser extension. By using the service you agree to them; if you do not, please do not use it. How we handle information is explained in the Privacy Policy.
The service
Video Hunter is a free tool that finds the video in a public post on X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, Facebook Reels, Reddit, Bluesky or Kwai and lets you download it. It does not host videos: they are fetched from the platform's own servers.
The service can change or stop at any time, and some links will not work, for example when a post is private, has been removed, or comes from a format we do not support.
What you download
You are responsible for what you download and how you use it. In particular:
- Only download videos you have the right to download: your own, ones whose creator allows it, or where the law of your country allows it.
- Do not re-upload, sell or otherwise use someone else's video in a way that infringes their copyright or other rights.
- Respect the terms of the platform a video comes from.
Accounts
You never need an account to download a video. An account is only needed to keep folders and to post in the chat, and you must be at least 13 years old, or older where the law of your country requires it, to create one.
Keep your sign-in details to yourself: you are responsible for what is done with your account. You can delete it at any time from Your library, together with everything stored against it.
Folders and sharing
A folder keeps references to videos, not copies. It is private until you make it public. Anyone with the link can open a public folder, and anyone signed in can follow it. Everyone who can see a folder can see how many people follow it, but never who they are.
When you invite someone to a folder, you choose whether they can edit it or only view it, and you can change that or remove them at any time. Editors can add and remove videos; the videos they added stay when they leave.
Do not use a folder, public or shared, to collect or spread content that breaks these terms.
Chat rules
The chat on a video page is public. When you post, do not:
- harass, threaten or insult anyone, or attack people for who they are;
- post spam, advertising, scams or links to malware;
- post sexual content involving minors, or intimate content of anyone without their consent;
- share someone else's personal information;
- pretend to be someone else, or post anything illegal.
We can delete messages, and suspend or remove accounts, that break these rules, with or without notice. Reported messages are reviewed. Messages are deleted automatically after 30 days.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- overload, attack or try to break the service or its security;
- use it through automated means beyond normal personal use, or to build a copy or a competing service;
- get around the limits we set, or use the service for anything illegal.
Content and copyright complaints
Videos, posts and their text belong to their creators and the platforms they come from. The Video Hunter name, logo and site belong to Video Hunter.
If you believe a page on this site infringes your rights, contact us with the address of the page, the work concerned and a way to reach you. We will review it and remove the page where appropriate.
Advertising
Video Hunter is free and paid for by advertising served by Google. Ads come from third parties, and we are not responsible for what they advertise.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors, or that a given video can be downloaded.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Video Hunter is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for loss of data, or for losses arising from what you download, share or post, or from third-party services such as the platforms videos come from, Google or Amazon. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or your rights as a consumer.
Ending your use
You can stop using the service, and delete your account, at any time. We can suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and a significant change will be announced on the site. Using the service after a change means you accept it.
